You know that feeling you get when everything is going right? That “This is so amazing and I hope it never stops” feeling? Well that’s how I feel right now! I think I am finally making progress on this whole study abroad thing. It’s a lot harder than I expected to fit two study abroad experiences into an engineering degree plan. So I decided that the best thing for me to do is participate in the summer and fall engineering study abroad in Italy. I was kind of bummed that I will be going to the same location twice, because I want to see as much of the world as possible, but I’m starting to get really excited! Icing on the cake: my roommate and would-be-best-friend-if-we-weren’t-grown-adults-because-those-titles-are-silly, Alexis is planning the same thing! She is also a Global Engagement Fellow (you can find here blog at alexischall.com/fellows).
Any way. Back on track: progress. Not only have I made a definitive decision on when and where I will study abroad, I also have almost finished my applications, and I have a meeting scheduled with the engineering study abroad adviser, Theresa Marks. This should be fun! Hopefully all will be well and I will be good to go. Wish me luck!
